PropDocs is a software service developed and provided by Gravitate International, designed to assist users in understanding market conditions for building and renovating properties.

 

Acceptance of Terms

By using PropDocs, you accept these terms of use, our privacy policy, and any additional guidelines or rules specific to the service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and contributors of content.

 

Definitions

“We,” “Our,” and “Us” refer to Gravitate International, the provider of the PropDocs software service. “You” and “Your” refer to any individual or entity accessing our service. “Service” refers to the PropDocs software service powered by Gravitate International, including its tools, features, and content.

 

Use of the Service

To access or use PropDocs, you must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction. PropDocs provides tools and insights to help you understand market conditions for building and renovating properties. Powered by Gravitate International’s team, PropDocs leverages technology, including ProCalcs calculation algorithms , to deliver building cost estimations. However, our liability is strictly limited to the information provided by you and the market conditions at the time of estimation. You agree not to use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purposes, reverse-engineer, duplicate, or tamper with its technology or content, or share login credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account.

 

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activity under your account. Ensure all data you provide to PropDocs is accurate, complete, and up-to-date. The reliability of our estimates depends on the accuracy of the information you provide. You are solely responsible for compliance with any applicable local, state, or federal laws while using the service.

 

Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, software, and trademarks associated with the PropDocs software service are owned by or licensed to Gravitate International. You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, or modify our intellectual property without prior written consent.

 

Disclaimer of Warranties

PropDocs is provided as a software service on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness or reliability of any data, calculations, or insights provided. The accuracy of our estimates is subject to the information provided by you and current market conditions. If market conditions change drastically, we reserve the right to amend our estimates. We recommend obtaining third-party valuations and quotes from registered professionals before making financial decisions based on our estimates.

 

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither PropDocs nor Gravitate International is liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use or inability to use the service, errors or inaccuracies in content or calculations, or unauthorized access to your account. We make no additional assumptions, unless clearly detailed and are not liable for differences between the cost estimates provided and actual costs or quotes.

 

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Gravitate International harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the service.

 

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Any updates will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

 

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at our discretion, with or without notice, if you breach these terms or for any other reason deemed necessary.

 

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of South Australia.

 

Third-Party Services

PropDocs may integrate with third-party services or tools. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or functionality of such services.

Provided Information

If scale plans have not been provided, you agree that we will base our cost estimate on any plans submitted and/or the areas specified in the questionnaire. We strive to gather as much information as possible by asking detailed and comprehensive questions to ensure the estimate is as accurate as it can be. However, you acknowledge that we are not liable for any discrepancies between the estimated build cost and the actual costs incurred.
 

Key Assumptions

Reports assume the following:

•    The builder supplies all materials, with builder variations excluded.

•    Renovation subfloors are sound, with no soil clearance needed.

•    Simple or shallow site scrapes are included for new builds/extensions.

•    Glass doors and windows are double-glazed, and GST is included.

•    MBA standards apply to the construction contract.

•    The tender process includes three pre-selected builders.

•    Homeowners independently source builders without industry referrals.

Timing

We will endeavor to deliver the report to you within the prescribed time limit. If we cannot deliver as we have agreed upon we may notify you through an email as to when to expect your report.

Reports are not detailed estimates. For precise costs, consult a quantity surveyor or professional. While we aim for completeness, some assumptions may not be listed.
